Making a more conscious effort to jot down the little things happening ...

watching: the americans, gardening australia, war on waste and friends re-runs
crafting: homemade kraft paper cards with stamps
baking: nut butter date cookies ... seed ones, ginger ones ...
craving: morning crepes, early nights and baths
cooking: slow baked lemon and garlic chicken
organising: our walk in wardrobe
loving: this blue sky weather and beautiful beach walks
chopping: oranges straight from the fridge
picking: lemons and baby kale from the garden
wearing: slip on mules, favourite levis and track pants
diffusing: grapefruit and eucalyptus
learning: to be as waste free as possible - especially with soft plastics!
remembering: the importance  of being grateful and journalling
noticing: the geralton wax is starting to flower, early! it must be confused by this sunshine
wanting: to garden more, for school holidays to arrive
looking forward to: denmark in July

A beautiful weekend away to close off Autumn down in Augusta. We travelled down via the hills - Pinjarra, Wellington, Harvey, Nannup, Donnybrook .. so lovely seeing the trees losing their leaves and green paddocks. We stopped for some roadside citrus and took our time moseying down to Augusta. Lovely house right near the inlet and a warm fireside meal at the pub on our first night.

Lovely weather meant we got to check out the lighthouse, waterwheel and the local coastline. Picky lunches and walks along the river into town.

We made our way back to Dunsborough through Jewel Cave and the Boranup Forest. Just so delightful to be out of Perth, break up the routine of late term school and enjoy some quiet time together.
