Another lap around the sun for Toddy and about the third year in a row the kids have been sick for it! The boys get so excited for birthday celebrations and it's so sweet to be a part of. They wanted blueberries on the table as "Dad's special fruit" and had fun making cards. Toddy spent the day with the boys while I worked, a picky dinner and some time enjoying the new record player that night. Love our big guy.
I've been taking photos of the boys artwork lately and keeping it in folders ... have been loving watching them develop! Will always draws things with intricate little details, on tiny little pieces of paper. He's slow and deliberate and thinks about things.

Ethan loves to draw places and people. I love how he has drawn Winnie the Pooh here. He's always drawing his family and big smiling faces. He loves to draw and says he is going to be an artist when he grows up.
Well, the day started out great. Gifts at the table, a bowl of strawberries to share and pancakes cooking. You were so excited by the helium balloons and the big brothers were chuffed to help open presents. You were particularly fond of the green little torch.
Fast forward to two hours later where you vomited in the Woolworths parking lot, 30 minutes before people were due to arrive at our house to celebrate your birthday.
So a birthday bath it was ... you managed a few smiles for the rest of the day. You're honestly just the most amazing kid. Just always so happy to be amongst it.
You call yourself 'Minny' .... so Happy Birthday Minny. Can't believe you're two.
We did finally get to sing to you with the cousins a few weekends later. Simple donut cake and some chopped watermelon. You said "happy happy" all the way home like you knew it was your happy birthday.
