Isolation.
Ethan started solids and started crawling!
We did puzzles, walks to the park, painting and started pizza nights on Fridays!
Dad worked in the shed and popped down during the day to visit us and have snacks.
We had slow days in our pajamas, episodes of Bluey, polished the deck and sorted some paving and bought a new bench seat for the front of our home. Will got a buzz cut to match Dad, we face timed friends and family and swam at the beach soaking up the last of the heat. There were moments of overwhelm, managing two young kids without our usual friend and family help .. but we felt grateful that for us, isolation meant a chance to slow down and spend time as a family.
