These years are moving by so quickly. A blur in fact. I'm often so glad (and proud!) I have kept this blog going. It is so nice to reflect back on and see just how many wonderful moments are happening in our lives.

We recently drove to Quairading for a wedding. Our first night away from the three kids since Flynn's been here. A four hour drive where no one needed snacks or toilet stops or fights to break up. Even though it took us until March we managed to finally discuss our favourite moments of 2022.

I can't quite believe how much we packed into 2022. At the start of the year we truly had no idea it would end with selling our home and relocating to the south west. Yet here we are, settled in Cowaramup and beginning a new chapter on our bush block. Life is so good.

Best road trip: Coral Bay (September), Albany to see Leiper's new place, Dwellingup for Nanna's birthday
Best holiday: Rottnest (January) - staying right on the water in Long Reach
Best beach: Pebble Beach, Exmouth
Best vista: our new dining room window, over the sand dunes at the back of our Coral Bay house
Most "chuffed" moment: Having our offer accepted on our Cowaramup home, Will learning to ride a bike!
Best party: Kaitlin and Brian's engagement party  -  first night leaving Flynn. Amy coming over and sneaking into the bedroom to take Flynn out of my arms and ushering me out. Coming home to find her and him snuggled up together, asleep on the couch. The sweetest friend.
Best songs/artists: Spidey Team playlist, Wiggles, Gang of Youths,
Best concert: Gang of Youths - unbelievable. Just so bloody nice to be back at live music. Leon Bridges at Freo Arts Centre
Favourite TV shows: Wiggles/Emma, Better Call Saul, Succession
Favourite movie: Spiderman trilogy
Biggest celebration: Baby Ruby was born! A fourth baby for our delightful Bradburn friends. Sofie and James finally had some good news and are expecting a baby girl come 2023. Celebrating one year of Flynn River.
Best drink: red wine on the camping chairs as the sun sets on Christmas night, Coral Bay hotel on the lawn,
Biggest surprise: Getting Covid ... twice!?! Moving ... twice!!  Mum and Dad also sold their home of 30+ years!!
Best toys: Spiderman obsession began! Lego ... so much lego. We had to implement a system!!  Magnatiles, superhero costumes
Kid milestones: Will started kindy and thrived! He had such a fun year! He learned how to write his name and his drawing really took off. Ethan's drawing really took shape too. He learned to ride his pedal bike and Ethan really got the hang of the balance bike! Ethan toilet trained and moved to a big boy bed. A huge year of milestones for him!
Both eldest boys began really asserting their authority for what they want to wear!
Flynn started solids on our holiday in Rottnest and then walked on our holiday in Coral Bay!
