Thirty five laps around the sun for me and I pinch myself at how incredibly full and wonderful my life is   

 

Three months with you baby Flynn!

You have rolled over - albeit we missed it! Sorry kid but true to your nature you just did it without a fuss. Looking over one moment to notice you face down on the mat. You kick your little feet up in the air and tip on to your side. 

You've stretched your day feeds out to three hourly and as a result now wake consistently twice a night and then starting your day by 5.15am. I usually pull you into our bed and feed you there until the others wake 

You've definitely discovered your hands. Sucking on them constantly. 

I feel like it's all flying past so fast. You're becoming more active and engaged.  I'm trying to stop and soak it all in before it's too late. 

We took you on two little road trips and you were a dream. Such a great little traveller. 

 I will forever remember these three months as some of the best times of our life. Toddy took long service leave and was around full time as we adjusted to life as a family of five. 

He let me rest and heal at home by taking the big boys out. Letting me soak up Flynn on the couch, taking it slowly. He cooked beautiful meals, bathed and put the big kids to bed. Held the baby, rocked the baby. Tidied, cleaned. Made sure I did the very least possible. 

We went on two little road trips, many park visits and played at the beach. But mainly we just made memories in the mundane ...morning breakfast, reading books, building duplo and spending time together.
