Five months with baby Flynn!

Our days are loud and chaotic and you just continue to bring us so much joy. Watching your big brothers and taking it all in 

You've come out of the grizzly leap and are back to settling to sleep quite well. You love your dummy and have really taken to your little blue bunny. 

You're in the cot now! We moved the bassinet out of our room and set up the cot. It's handy having you still so close as you wake 2 - 4 times per night. I usually just feed you in our bed and then transfer you back. 

You're rolling easily now and have just in the last week become really comfortable on your tummy 

You grasp things, pull them into your mouth 

Another year done and dusted and we've sat down to chat over the year that has been! 
Crayfish, salad and red wine - interrupted by a baby who didn't really want to stay asleep!

Best road trip: Ferguson Valley (our first road trip with three!), Kojonup to stay with the Stones and our camping trip in March with the Rayners

Best holiday: Rottnest in January with the Stokes'

Best beach: Duke of York all to ourselves, Rottnest

Best day: welcoming Flynn earthside

Best meal: Sidedoor brisket (when we stayed a night at QT Perth for a babymoon), Breakfast (namely chicken waffles) at Mary St Bakery, Murdoch Hospital room service menu

Best vista: Rottnest lake sunset, Camping sunrise

Most "chuffed" moment: Three boys!! Adding to our brood

Best party: Fantasty Bball catch up in Northbridge

Best songs/artists: Khruangbin, Dope Lemon, Like A River - Ocie Elliot, boys played Aussie Jingle Bells and Six White Boomers on repeat over christmas 

Best concert: Still no gigs! Covid! Had to refund both Tame Impala and The National

Best bushwalk: Samson

Favourite TV shows: Guess How Much I Love You (Willem), Schitts Creek, Ted Lasso, Farmer Phil's weekly video check ins

Favourite movie: Crazy Heart (equally great album) 

Best podcasts: The Imperfects (Todd), Australian Birth Stories (Tash), The Always Sunny Podcast (Todd)
Biggest celebration: Chris and Michelle eloping (despite having to cancel their wedding due to Covid), Kaitlin and Brian engaged, Baby #4 news for the Bradburns, Emmie Paige Leiper being born 3 weeks shy of Flynn

Best drink: Ginversity gin with Nez at Christmas,  Two cartons to Billy Lee's for basketball catch up, case of Collab and Bloom Tempranillo 

Biggest surprise: Carrying Flynn until 40+4!! Wettest July on record

Best toys: Duplo free builds - mudtrucks, Christmas '21 saw Will get his first lego, lambie and 'hop bunny' still the favourite cuddlies

Kid milestones: Will dropped his nap and transitioned to quiet time where he builds and plays in his room and listens to audio stories, Will transitioned to a single bed and toilet trained! Huge year for him!
