Up early to see the moon still in the sky and to sneak this baby out of the house before anyone else woke. Packed up our things, one final swim and a snooze on the ferry ride home from our middle guy.  Love you Rottnest.

Sleep has not been our friend on the island. Averaging about five or six wake ups a night, little man just didn't getting much good sleep in. Todd sent me off in the morning for a coffee which I happily drank in the sun sitting on Fayes Bay beach. We made our way back down to Geordie where Flynn did another morning snooze in my arms and woke up much happier and restored! He absolutely loves the beach and water ...shrieking and flapping and splashing with his arms.

We tried his first solids! Avocado and pumpkin

... He loved it ...hungry boy. Got some family snaps on the balcony which I love for how imperfect they are and then enjoyed the view for our final bbq dinner. Peeked in on our oragami toddler before bed. Another wonderful day of sand and sun and family time.

Will woke a lot brighter today! Took the big boys to the general store where they played in the trees while I waited for a coffee. They're playing more and more together as Ethan's language develops and they both prefer sticks and rocks and trees to play equipment every time.

We had a morning swim at Geordie again and then home for naps and quiet time. Dad did some paper chain afternoon craft and we drew on the street in chalk. Rotto life is simple and easy and I am here for it!

Another long night of multiple wakes needing comforting ...shaken off by a morning walk down to Little Parrakeet bay, Flynny in the front pack, dozing on the way home. Will woke a little off colour so we had a quiet day. Lots of Play School and Bluey and staying close to home.

Night wrapped up with a 9pm party on the balcony from Flynn and watching that beautiful moon rise again !

One of the most horrendous sleeps of my life followed by a walk into town past the pink lake to shake it off.  We packed up and headed back to Geordie for another beautiful morning. Just the most perfect beach for kids. Flynn fed to sleep on the beach and I enjoyed a coffee and watching the kids play. Dave and Jackie came down to meet us and later on joined us for drinks in the afternoon. Will's obsession with Dr Yellow bullet train began and we drew and drew and drew them. Flynn was curious about the quokkas and each night we watched the moon rise over Perth. Incredible.
