I've always wondered what was over on the cliffs that you look out at when you swim at Ocean Beach. Little did I know it's a whole community - protected land - and you can go explore!
We all bundled in the car the next afternoon and went for a drive. It's only about 1 km away from Denmark across the water but the drive takes you close to forty five minutes!
What a beautiful beach though - Anvil Beach.
I'd love to go back in summer for a swim. There's natural rock pools and the waves were crashing and fizzing over the rocks. It would be great for snorkelling I'm sure. A really love afternoon exploring a new part of the this cape!
