The days that followed in Exmouth were sensational. We would eat breakfast at home each morning and then pack the car up. Music, snacks, towels, water, walking gear, snorkelling gear, books ...
Everything we might need during the day. We'd then make our way around the cape and enter the national park.
Highlights were:
- Yardie Creek walk
- Sandy Bay, lunch in the esky and beautiful turquoise water
- snorkelling at Lakeside and cruising alongside a turtle for a while
- spotting Sturt Desert Pea
- shothole Canyon hike
- collecting driftwood and urchins
- our own private beach for sunset
