Todd and I went out for a drive one day on our own. It was such a magic day!
We had been listening to Tim Winton's Breath which I will now always associate with the wide open roads. The Kennedy Ranges is about a two hour drive inland from Carnarvon so we set off with the car packed up and with our walking clothes on.
What a place ... red, red dirt and the bluest of skies. There are several short tracks which led to water holes and, as we always do, we had coffee and snacks for each stop.
