Another blissful sleep in, in another cloud like bed. We went downstairs for brekky and said our farewells to everyone. We had to get the car back to Manchester which was where we were flying out of.  A quick drive through Chester to see the town ... so many daffodils and magnolias in bloom!

The Manchester Airport was awesome .. we had the best British feed and sat comfortably waiting for our flight.

Arriving in Milan we were on the look out for my Mum's cousin, Corrado, who we were staying with for the next two days. He spotted us pretty quickly and we jumped in his car on our way to his apartment with his wife Stefania and daughter Alessandra.

Alessandra was definitely not keen on the sight of us at first but a few presents later and she was very affectionate little thing. So cute to hear her little Italian accent.
Corrado's english is fantastic ... as is Stefania's so we were grateful to be able to communicate so easily. They took us to a restaurant owned by Corrado's uncle ... or cousin  ... I can't remember.

Their friends came along for the meal and it was so hilarious as they were trying to argue about "antipasto" and what that would translate to for us ... But I had to explain to them that we also say antipasto. All that hoo-ha and they ordered french fries!!!

Yummy pizzas and great atmosphere ... we felt like we were definitely eating where the locals eat.
Again, really surreal being surrounded family we've never met!
