This day definitely went down as the red letter day of the trip.
We woke up to the bluest of blue skies and we were able to pull out the shorts!!

We sat on the balcony for a while and just soaked up the big blue ocean and the colourful houses eating mandarins! We walked into town in search of some breakfast. Our little kitchen - although authentically nice - was fairly rubbish. We discovered a local place that made crepes and decent coffee for breakfast and then headed back home.

We decided to walk along the cliff from Thira along to Oia. It had rave reviews online and we decided to give it a go!
The bus took us from Oia along the coast and we hopped off earlier than Oia. After a bit of moseying around we worked out where the cliff path was and began. You can see in the photos the white tip of the cliff which is Oia and the caldera which we walked around. Our second active volcano for the trip!!
The boys carried backpacks with fruit and water and we set off!
It was so wonderful to walk and hike!
Along the path there were little churches we came across - white of course - and the view across the ocean was just surreal.

We watched the sunset again that night and I purchased an evil eye for our house back home.
