Today the weather swung and was freeeeezing and windy.
Really interesting seeing the storm come in across the ocean.
We hired a car and took a drive around the island! Driving on the other side of the road caused a few issues .. Brad had it mostly under control.
We stopped at the Hungry Donkey - the spot we discovered for crepes and coffee. We took the car to see some ancient ruins at the other end of the island. Thankfully they were under cover and when we came out the weather had really settled in.
We drove around for a bit and finally just picked a spot for lunch. Turns out it is ridiculously well reviewed and we ate mousakka off tables covered in a greek map table cloth and had red wine and greek beers. The waiter bought around shots of grappa and a custard-like dessert on the house.

On our drive home we stopped at the only craft brewery on the island, Red Donkey and an art gallery. The art gallery was really quite amazing, build in old caves underground.
The owner was the son, who had it passed down through his family. We did a wine tasting and ended up buying his vinsanto ...delicious!

Once home we wandered the alleyways and made some purchases ... art, cushion covers ... and took photos of the stormy weather.
We found a nice restaurant for dinner and enjoyed some lamb chops!
